Navigating the Journey of Loss and Restoration in Life

The iconic stained-glass window at the Hotel Del Coronado, known as the “Woman in the Window,” was restored to its original location after being missing for years. Following a complete restoration in 2020, it was returned in summer 2021 to its original second-story position where it first appeared in 1888.

What Happened to the Window

  • The window was initially installed in the lobby chimney, visible from inside and outside.

  • After the chimney's removal in the 1920s, the window was relocated multiple times.

  • In 1995, it was moved to the fourth-floor exterior above the lobby entrance.

  • In 2020, it underwent a complete restoration.

  • Just as the window was restored, you too can renew your gifts and opportunities, no matter the time that has passed.

God's Restoration and Beauty

Just as the “Woman in the Window” was beautifully restored to its rightful place, God offers a path to restoration for each of us. Through faith and grace, we can experience a transformation that renews our spirit and enhances our inner beauty.

How God Can Restore You

  • Forgiveness: God offers forgiveness for past mistakes, allowing us to begin anew with a clean slate.

  • Healing: Emotional and spiritual healing can take place, mending the wounds that have held us back.

  • Purpose: God can reveal our true purpose, helping us to see the beauty in our unique gifts and talents.

  • Community: Through faith, we can connect with others who encourage and uplift us, enhancing our journey of restoration.

Embracing Your Beauty

As we embrace God’s restoration, we begin to see ourselves through His eyes—beautiful, worthy, and full of potential. This renewed perspective allows us to shine brightly in the world, just as the restored window illuminates the space around it.
